Howling no more!
Jazzy has not been howling since she was spayed on 05 December 2008. Tansy was also spayed but never produced that demonic sound.

Hopefully, this will keep them so busy that they will leave the house alone!

Have recently re-fitted a ’strip lamp’ wall light which we removed, about twenty years ago, to make way for a large, now sold, book case. Have put glass over the lamp and it is on this that the cats now sit to get warm, and where Tansy was when this photo was taken.

Spayed: a non event
Having anticipated the need to nurse kittens after they were spayed, it was all a non event – for owners, anyway. The kittens didn’t ‘worry’ their incision sites; didn’t become infected; didn’t lose their appetites. All in all, no problem.
Howling!
There’s a strange noise in the house – ah, it’s Jazzy! Howling! Within the last couple of days she has started to howl like a – well, like a Burmese cat. As yet, Tansy has not developed this skill, but if both of them howl in unison . . . !
