Jazzy & Tansy

life with (two) Burmese cats . . .

Howling no more!

Jazzy has not been howling since she was spayed on 05 December 2008.  Tansy was also spayed but never produced that demonic sound.

Cat run reinstated

The team came today and rebuilt our wind damaged run. Until anchored to terrace, have put several paving slabs in in an attempt to prevent it blowing away again.  If windy tonight, Linda and I will go out and hang on to it!run reinstated

Spayed: a non event

Having anticipated the need to nurse kittens after they were spayed, it was all a non event – for owners, anyway. The kittens didn’t ‘worry’ their incision sites; didn’t become infected; didn’t lose their appetites. All in all, no problem.

Litter tray misses!

Have had a spate of poos being deposited just outside litter tray. In an effort to ‘re-educate’ (Tansy, we think) we have bought The World’s Best Cat Litter to replace the wood chip litter. Also, two trays in use just in case the problem is caused by overcrowding. And, have been leaving a small amount of poo in each tray to ‘mark the spot’. All poos in tray now for the past week. Maybe, maybe?

Hello!

Gerald took this photo of Jazzy coming face to face with a stranger.  Separated by glass, no fisticuffs.
