Car run is bolted to terrace

The resurrected cat run has now been anchored to the terrace with several large bolts. Also a few more screws have been put into the frame – just in case! So, blow wind blow!

Cat run reinstated

The team came today and rebuilt our wind damaged run. Until anchored to terrace, have put several paving slabs in in an attempt to prevent it blowing away again.  If windy tonight, Linda and I will go out and hang on to it!

Cat Run assembly team expected here today.  Sun is shining – and no wind!

Cat run (re)assembly tomorrow

Cat Run Assembly Team (CAT) expected here tomorrow to reassemble wind traumatised run. Then, next day, terrace man coming to have a go at anchoring the run. Hope we don’t have high winds for couple of days!

Cat run is down!

Today, our (kind) neighbour helped me to disassemble the mangled cat run – must get him a ‘thank you’ bottle of vino.  Have emailed the people who made the run to find out if they will  put it together again.  Hope so!

The cat run has now been moved to its ‘proper’ place on the patio ‘extension’.  The work was completed last Thursday.  Yesterday and today our two demons (not really!) spent a few hours in their ‘day house’ – so we were able to open wide our windows and have a couple of meals alfresco.

Patio renewal under way

The first stage of patio renewal, and base for cat run, now under way.  Today old slabs removed.  Rain, rain, keep away – don’t come back for a week and a day!

Cat Run arrived!

The cat run was delivered and assembled today. Currently at front of the house, we’ll move it to the rear when patio has been sorted out. Jazzy and Tansy survived an half hour exploration session in it. We hope they like it!

Cat Run / shed on its way . . .

We have had the call – the cat run is to be delivered here on Monday.  Fingers crossed that this does indeed happen.

Shed to go

Today, dismantled our small garden shed to make way for cat run. Seems a shame to remove the shed which is just a couple of years old – but is was on the best site for the cat run.
